Online Safari Booking Procedure

Booking a safari in Madhya Pradesh is a simple and hassle-free process. To begin with, guests can choose the national park they wish to explore, whether it is Kanha, Bandhavgarh, or Pench. Each park is divided into core and buffer zones, and safaris are conducted in two shifts daily – morning and evening. Once the preferred park, zone, date, and time are selected, traveler details such as name, age, gender, nationality, and ID proof are required as per the guidelines of the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department. The same ID proof must be carried on the day of the safari. After submitting the details, the booking is confirmed through advance payment. On the day of the safari, visitors are advised to reach the designated entry gate at least 30 minutes before the reporting time.

  • Safari zones and jeeps are allotted subject to availability.
  • Once confirm safari are non-refundable, non-transferable & non-cancellable.
  • If the safari cannot be booked due to technical errors or seat unavailability, the full amount will be refunded to your bank account.
  • Pick & Drop is available at extra cost; otherwise, report directly at the booked entry gate.
  • Only official registered guides are allowed; change of guide/naturalist is not permitted.
  • Single-seat permit holders must share vehicle & guide charges equally with other tourists at entry.

The online safari booking already includes the charges for the entry permit, vehicle, and guide, so no additional payment is required at the entry gate.

  • Authorized Guide Compulsory – Every safari vehicle is accompanied by a registered forest guide provided by the park.
  • Passenger Limit – A maximum of 6 tourists per Gypsy is allowed, excluding guide and driver.

The park stays closed on Holi and Diwali, and the core zone is not open for safari on Wednesday evenings.
